- Your dev mind creates scripts and tools for agile development. As part of the development and implementation of applications, software components, and interfaces to databases or other applications, you will of course also carry out requirements management and estimate effort.
- The Ops in you provides a stable, highly available, high-performance, and secure system in admin style - ideally based on a microservice architecture - and takes care of troubleshooting, installing regular updates, and not missing any anomalies in the overall system through clean monitoring.
- Automation is high on your to-do list. You program scripts for automation, e.g. monitoring, code analysis, or build and release processes along a CI/CD pipeline. Tools like Git, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, or Kubernetes are running at full speed, ideally in a cleverly linked toolchain.
- As a DevOps engineer, you also automate whatever is possible for testing. This is how you develop fine unit, integration, system, and performance tests, which you design, carry out, and monitor as a team.
- Using tools like Git, Apache Subversion (SVN), CVS, or BitBucket, you manage the code in versions, making it easy to review and restore.
- Just like code, you can also manage your system resources in the DevOps universe. By treating infrastructure as code, you manage it in auditable and recoverable versions that are deployed automatically.
- Documentation is an essential part of your tasks. You enjoy compiling knowledge in a central location that the team can access.

- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
- Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo, PostgreSQL, Redis
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
